SAFETY & ETIQUETTE

Your health and safety is our highest priority.  Our studios are in consistent contact with Vancouver Island Health Authority to ensure that we are meeting each requirement mandated to ensure the safety of all of our students.

SELF ASSESSMENT

Please stay home if you have any symptoms related to COVID-19.  Upon arrival students will be verbally asked if their health is well and if they are able to practice.  To learn more about conducting your own health assessment please visit the BC Self Assessment Tool.

ARRIVAL

Our doors are now remaining locked up to 15 mins before class begins to support the time it takes to clean the studio between classes.

MASKS MANDATORY:

The PHO mandated mask wearing in all indoor common public spaces.  They are currently getting more clear on mask use during ‘fitness’ classes, but until then we do have to honour this mandate.  Masks are mandatory throughout the studio and during practice. It is a simple way to take care of each other and the spaces we share.

WASH YOUR HANDS:

Please wash your hands for 20 seconds or use the hospital grade disinfectant upon arrival.

PRE-REGISTER

All of our classes require students to pre-register for classes which can be done through our Mobile App up to 7 days in advance.  Registration windows open at 6:45 AM seven days prior to the start date of the class you want to take.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING:

Please ensure that you are honouring, where ever possible, the 2 M physical distancing requirement.  Please follow the teacher’s instructions for entering and exiting the practice room.

CONTACTLESS/CASHLESS

All transactions are cashless.  When you arrive, please provide your name and we will check you in manually.

ARRIVE READY TO PRACTICE

Wear your yoga gear and bring all of your props with you.  We still have change rooms available and our limited showers to use after practice.

PROPS & ACCESSORIES

Practice accessories can be purchased from the front desk.  At this time we cannot offer props during class, or as rentals.

REDUCED-HEAT

In order to comply with the provincial health authority mandate, all of our ‘hot’ classes have been adjusted to a comfortable ambient room temperature.

BREATHING IN PRACTICE

We offer a grounded practice by encouraging students to breathe in and out through their nose. With the mandatory use of masks while you practice, you can now breathe in and out of your mouth and nose.  This may change if we are permitted to practice without masks.

AIR CIRCULATION

Fresh air is drawn into the practice room at regular intervals throughout the class. Our HVAC system pulls air in a linear direction rather than a circular distribution.
