We gratefully acknowledge that our studio is located on the unceded territories of the Lekwungen peoples,
also known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations Communities.
Your health and safety is our highest priority. Our studios are in consistent contact with Vancouver Island Health Authority to ensure that we are meeting each requirement mandated to ensure the safety of all of our students.
Please stay home if you have any symptoms related to COVID-19. Upon arrival students will be verbally asked if their health is well and if they are able to practice. To learn more about conducting your own health assessment please visit the BC Self Assessment Tool.
Doors open 15 minutes before class start time. We encourage you to come ready to practice.
Masks are optional during class, still required through common areas.
WASH YOUR HANDS:
Please wash your hands for 20 seconds or use the hospital grade disinfectant upon arrival.
All of our classes require students to pre-register for classes which can be done through our Mobile App up to 7 days in advance. Registration windows open at 6:45 AM seven days prior to the start date of the class you want to take.
Please ensure that you are honouring, where ever possible, the 2 M physical distancing in common areas.
All transactions are cashless. When you arrive, please provide your name and we will check you in manually.
ARRIVE READY TO PRACTICE
Showers and Change rooms are available. Whenever possible, we encourage you to arrive in your yoga gear and bring all of your props with you.
PROPS & ACCESSORIES
Shower towels are now available, supplied by a local linen company. Mat rentals and community use of props are still unavailable for the time being.
WARMTH & HEAT
It’s coming back baby!
Classes will be offered at a range of 28-38 degrees depending on the style of class.
BREATHING IN PRACTICE
At this time we are encouraging all of our students to breathe through their nose during practice. If you feel as though you need to take a big exhale, take child’s pose so that your breath can be directed towards the floor.
Fresh air is drawn into the practice room at regular intervals throughout the class. Our HVAC system pulls air in a linear direction rather than a circular distribution.
