The LAB is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) that is redefining an approach to yoga teacher training. For over 12 years, we have explored and evolved with the Victoria yoga community. The Lab Method brings together all we have learned about developing strength in practice, community and education.
An impressive faculty has come together for the LAB Method training. Local and beloved teachers who you know and trust will be collaborating with international educators. The LAB Method curriculum format supports each faculty member to deliver the topics they are most passionate about to create a one of a kind learning experience.
In addition to meeting the extended Yoga Alliance certification requirements, LAB Method features additional training hours focused on equity, diversity and inclusion. From our roots, we are committed to fostering safer and inclusive spaces to honour the beautiful diversity of our community. This too is an on-going journey, not a destination. We listen, we learn, we do better together.
LAB Method offers flexible in-studio and online formats including live and pre-recorded instruction to engage with the content at your own pace. With options for full time intensives or part time hybrid formats, you can select the training path that aligns best with your lifestyle.
The LAB is a different kind of space for experimentation. We acknowledge that your movement practice is an ongoing journey. There is no destination, there is no finish line. It is about a constant state of evolving.
The Foundations Training is a contemporary Vinyasa and heated Hatha training that meets you at the nexus of sweet flow and exalted sweat. It offers an essential understanding of Vinyasa Yoga, our heated Hatha method (Roots), and the collective wisdom of the Yogic tradition.
